72-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies After He Was Hit By A Car In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A 72-year-old Bridgeport man died after he was hit by a car while crossing Old Town Road on Wednesday morning, according to the Connecticut Post.

The accident happened as the man crossed Old Town Road near McAdoo Avenue on the Bridgeport-Trumbull border.

The accident happened at about 6:45 a.m. as Albert Youle, 72, was heading for his car, which was parked on McAdoo Avenue in Trumbull, the Post said.

The driver of the car cooperated with police at the scene, and it had not been determined whether any charges would be filed, the Connecticut Post said.
