BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – William W. Glass, Sr., of Bridgeport, died on Tuesday, March 15 at St. Vincent Medical Center. He was 72.
Glass was born in Akron, Ohio to John and Thelma Glass, serving in both the Army and Navy during the Vietnam War and eventually retiring from Sikorsky Aircraft.
He was predeceased by his parents, granddaughter Zoie Petrovich, and two brothers, Thomas and Frank.
Glass is survived by his wife Judy Stage Glass, four children, William Jr. and wife Antoinette of Naugatuck, Michael and his wife Karen of Georgia, Scott and his wife Kathleen of Oxford, and Jennifer Petrovich of Seymour; 10 grandchildren, brother Jack of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, located at 2155 Main Street in Stratford, with services set for Monday morning at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow with military honors at St. Michael Garden Mausoleum.
