Born in Vietnam, Nguyen graduated from Bassick High School. She went on to earn a bachelor's in business administration from Sacred Heart University. She was an insurance specialist with the Social Security Administration for 17 years.
Nguyen enjoyed adventure, travel, charity work and involvement with Temple. She received awards and honors, and was involved in Phuoc Long Temple in Ansonia.
She is survived by her parents, Ky Nguyen and My Luu of Bridgeport; 11 siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., in Trumbull. Interment will be private.
