Born in Newark, N.J., to the late Bennie and Doris Hall Williams, she had been a resident of Bridgeport for 20 years. She was employed as a pharmaceutical technician with the VA in New Jersey. Her spiritual needs were met as a disciple of Faith Outreach Apostolic Church, where she served on the Mother's Board.
She is survived by two sons, Gregory Williams of New Haven and Edward (LaSonya) Williams of New Jersey; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and various other relatives and friends.
Friends are invited to a viewing Wednesday, April 29, from 10-11 a.m. at Faith Outreach Apostolic Church, 32 Bond St., Bridgeport. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 29, at 11 a.m. at the church, with Pastor Cynthia D. Bellamy officiating. Interment will follow in Park Cemetery.
