Stanley Borucki, 96, Bridgeport Resident

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Stanley Borucki, of Bridgeport,  died Tuesday, Jan. 26 at St. Vincent's Hospital. He was 96.

Born and raised in Bridgeport, he was the son of Walter and Anastasia Miloszewski Borucki.

He was a retired self-employed jeweler. He was also a veteran of World War II, serving from 1940 to 1946 in the Army Air Corps, where he received the Bronze Star for meritorious valor. He was a member of the Polish Heritage Society and St. Michael the Archangel Church.

He is survived by his nephews Jerome and Raymond Nalewajk, both of Stratford; and several cousins in Poland.

Calling hours will take place Friday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the Frank Radozycki and Sons Funeral Home, 305 Pulaski St., Bridgeport. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church followed by interment in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford, with full military honors.
