BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - Martha Ironside, 93, of Bridgeport, died Saturday, April 11.
She was born March 13, 1922, in Bridgeport, to the late William and Minnie Brown.
Ironside was a 1938 graduate of Harding High School, and a longtime member of Black Rock Congregational Church.
She was a member of the Westminster Orthodox Presbyterian Church for the past 37 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Judith (Russell) Mark of Stratford, Susan (Kevin) Maxwell of Fairfield, and Laurel (David) Varker of Bridgeport; one son, Kenneth (Valerie) Ironside of Baltimore, Md.; one brother, Richard (Margaret) Brown of Hanover, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Kenneth Ironside, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Westminster Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 565 Shepherd Ave., Hamden.
Spear-Miller Funeral Home, Fairfield, is handling the arrangements.
