Born Jan. 20, 1924, in Porto de Mos, Lagos, Portugal, he was a son of the late Manuel Frazao and Maria Martins. He came to the United States with his family in 1967, and settled in Bridgeport. He was a retired employee of Handy and Harmon with more than 17 years of dedicated service. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.
In addition to his wife of 63 years, Encarnacao, survivors include three children, Maria F. DeSousa and her husband, Severino, of Trumbull; Arlindo Frazao and his wife, Regina, of Trumbull; and Alzira Gray and her husband, Sam, of Bridgeport; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three brothers and a sister.
Relatives and friends may greet the family from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Funeral services will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Our lady of Fatima Church, Bridgeport.
Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
