Patton attended Stratford Public Schools, and he enjoyed playing football and loved his family.
He is survived by his children, Javoni Patton Jr. and Jhedell Patton; parents Twana Patton and Fred Vereen; siblings Ariyan Drake, Felicia Vereen, Destiny Vereen, Dayron Wilkins and Tryton Carozza; maternal grandmother Brenda Patton Jernigan; paternal grandparents Connie Vereen and Fred Vereen Sr.; special grandfather Keith Coote; godparents Micheal Kennedy, Carlos Harris and Constance Bond; aunts Soroya Patton, Yasima Anderson and Barbara Vereen; uncle Rodney Ladson; special friends Willie Stancil and Arnold Oden; and a host of cousins and other relatives.
Patton was predeceased by his godmother, Jackie Rogers.
Visiting hours will be held from 9 a.m. until the noon funeral service, on Saturday, Feb. 20, at East End Baptist Church, 548 Central Ave., in Bridgeport. Baker-Isaac Funeral Services, in Bridgeport, is assisting with arrangements.
