Roberts was born in Newark, N.J., to William and Grace Olah.
She had worked for the City of Bridgeport Parks and Recreation Department and the Cardinal Shehan Center.
She was a longtime volunteer for Long Island Sound America, Swim Across the Sound, Girl Scouts of America, the Thomas Merton House, the Our Lady of Good Council Parish and the Aqua Maid Water Ballet Group.
Roberts was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Mark Roberts.
She is survived by her children, Francine A. Roberts of Bridgeport, and Mark Roberts Jr. and wife Patricia of Trumbull; two brothers, Donald Olah of Seymour and Robert Engelhard of Southbury; three grandchildren, Scott Roberts and wife Patricia of Stratford, Brian Roberts of Stratford and Kyle Roberts of Burlington, Vt.; and two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Ty Roberts of Stratford.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Redgate–Hennessy Funeral Home, at Main Street and Gorham Place in Trumbull. A prayer service is set for Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Interment will be private at the family's request.
