She was born in St. Ann, Jamaica, to David and Daisy Mighty Bryan.
Stevens had lived in Bridgeport for the last 16 years, and was formerly employed as a health-care provider at the Jewish Family Center in Stamford.
She was a disciple of the Calvary Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Stevens of New York; four sons, Michael (Prudence) Stevens, Mark (Alecia) Stevens, and Hugh (Laverne) Stevens all of Bridgeport, and Earl (Robin) Stevens of Maryland; one daughter, Clare (Ralph) Pitter-Spencer of Fairfield; two brothers, Izzette and Bas Bryan, both of Jamaica; two sisters, Viola Coke of Stamford and Valerie Bryan of Bridgeport; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be 10 a.m.-noon on Thursday, March 19, at the Calvary Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 827 Trumbull Ave., Bridgeport.
Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, at the church. Pastor Trevor Stewart will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
