BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Ben Walker, Jr., 53, died Thursday, March 26.
He was born in born in Estill, S.C., on Aug. 11, 1961, to Ben and Doris (Hayward) Walker. He had been employed with JJ Box Company for many years.
He is survived by his son, Shawn Barnes; daughters Chineen Barnes and LaToya Walker; his mother; two grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters.
A service of celebration will be held Friday, April 3, at 11 a.m. at the Geo. J. Peterson Funeral Home, 1041 Noble Ave., Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment at the convenience of the family.
