BRIDGEPORT, CONN. -- Andrew Dennis, of Bridgeport, died on Monday, April 27. He was 85.
He was born in Queens, N.Y., to Peter and Barbara Galenes Dennis.
He graduated from Queens College and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He went on to work as a mortgage banker after returning home.
Dennis is predeceased by his wife, Mary Polis Dennis, and is survived by his sister-in-law, Constance Forkiotis.
Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, at 4070 Park Avenue in Bridgeport, with funeral services to follow.
Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Trinity Church in Dennis' memory.
