Tyreik Gantt, 20, of 143 Connecticut Ave., Stamford, was arrested Friday for his role in the killing of Shane Slinsky, said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.

Slinsky was shot twice in the head on Aug. 27, 2016, on Wood Terrace in Bridgeport, during a drug deal gone bad, police said.

A juvenile was arrested earlier this week, and last March, 19-year-old Stamford resident Jeremy Middleton was charged with murder in connection with his death.

Gantt was charged with felony murder, conspiracy to commit robbery and larceny.

He is being held on $1 million bond.

"Great work by the many officers and detectives that worked on this case," said Harris.
