The winning ticket was sold in Fairfield County, although lottery officials did not say exactly where.

The winner has until Sunday, March 27, to claim the $100,000 top prize before the ticket expires.

While you are checking your lottery tickets, take another look at those Powerballs from Wednesday: Three players in Connecticut matched the first five numbers and will win $1 million. And one of those three tickets was sold in Fairfield County.

The winning numbers in Wednesday's record $1.5 billion drawing were 4, 8, 19, 27, 34, and a Powerball of 10. The jackpot was split between winners in California, Florida and Tennessee.

In addition to the $1 million tickets, four Connecticut people won $100,000 and seven more won $50,000.
