Six associates from The Watermark at 3030 Park receive national awards for exemplary service to seniors
Bridgeport The Watermark at 3030 Park recently held a ceremony honoring recipients of the Watermark Retirement Communities annual Thrive Awards. The awards are given to associates from Watermarks 38 communities nationwide who exemplify Watermarks philosophy of creating extraordinary communities where people thrive. I am proud to say that The Watermark at 3030 Park is home to so many award-winning employees, and am grateful they were recognized for their hard work, said Executive Director Connie Haworth, The variety of honorees is a testament to the incredible effort our staff puts forth to make every aspect of living at The Watermark extraordinary. Pradheep Shankar, Director of Food Services who has worked at The Watermark for three years, was awarded Director of the Year, an award given to the Director or Department Manager who has demonstrated leadership excellence by shepherding their department through a successful year in terms of financial performance, standards reviews, and associate and resident satisfaction. Lewis Spero, Plant Operations Manager who started working at The Watermark in March 2013 was awarded Rookie of the Year, an honor given to an associate who made exceptional progress during their first year at the community. Other Thrive Award winners from The Watermark at 3030 Park include; Sales and Marketing Director Ann Sertl; Human Resource Manager Art Dessureau; Simmi Narula, MDS/Careplan Coordinator Nurse and Gus Seri, who serves as the Lead Driver within The Watermarks Transportation Department.
