The raid at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday began after warrants in connection with the investigation were served at Fogle's home in Zionsville, Ind., according to Fox 59.
Fogle, known as "The Subway Guy," promoted Subway, the fast food restaurant franchise, in its advertising campaigns. He is known for his own significant loss of weight, called the "Subway Diet."
Subway was founded in Bridgeport by Fred DeLuca and Peter Buck, now of Danbury, and made both men billionaires. The company has its world headquarters in Milford.
