Warming Centers are open at the following locations and times:
Bridgeport:
- Greater Bridgeport Transit Bus Terminal, 710 Water St., 7a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Bridgeport Public Library, Main Branch, 925 Broad St., Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 1 to 5 p.m.
- Bridgeport Public Library, Black Rock Branch, 2705 Fairfield Ave., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Bridgeport Public Library, Newfield Branch, 1230 Stratford Ave., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Bridgeport Public Library, North Branch, 3455 Madison Ave., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Bridgeport Public Library, Old Mill Green Branch, 1677 E. Main St., Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Overnight Shelter:, United Congregational Church, 877 Park Ave.; To register, arrive at the Harrison Apartments on 651 State St., Bridgeport, from 4 to 6 p.m. After 6 p.m., go directly to Prospect House, 392 Prospect St. Shuttle bus service will run from the Greater Bridgeport Transit Terminal to Harrison Apartments from 4 to 6 p.m. and to Prospect House after 6 p.m.
Danbury:
- Danbury City Shelter, 41 New St., has a daily warming center from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the winter. After 2 p.m., individuals are encouraged to go to the library.
- Good Samaritan Day Center, 13 Maple Ave., 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.,
- Dorothy Day Soup Kitchen opens at 3 p.m.
- Shelter from the cold at Saint James AME Church, 45 Williams St., 5:30 to 8:45 p.m.
Monroe:
- Monroe Senior Center, 235 Cutlers Farm Road, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Edith Wheeler Memorial Library, 733 Monroe Turnpike, Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday noon to 4 p.m.
- Police Service Community Room at the Norwalk Department, 1 Monroe St., is open to residents who need to get out of the cold.
Stamford:
- Government Center, 888 Washington Blvd., 1st floor lobby, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Jewish Community Center, 1035 Newfield Ave., 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m..
- Glenbrook Community Center, 35 Crescent St., 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Inspirica, 8 Woodland Place, overnight from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. the next morning.
Stratford:
- All fire houses in Stratford are available 24 hours a day through midnight on Monday, Feb. 15.
