Wine Tasting Event Benefits Literacy Program In Bridgeport For Moms, Kids

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, sample various wines and tour the Fairfield Museum & History Center at a wine tasting event to benefit the Caroline House Mother and Child Literacy Program in Bridgeport.

The Caroline House Wine Tasting Benefit will be Friday, Nov. 20, from 7 to 10 p.m. 

Caroline House is a literacy education center located on the East Side of Bridgeport. For over 20 years, Caroline House has served low-income women and children through English as a Second Language, life skills, citizenship, preschool and children’s tutoring programs. 

Caroline House has helped more than 1,400 women and children since the School Sisters of Notre Dame of Wilton opened the center in 1995. 

Classes are held in a safe and welcoming environment to inspire confidence, hope, lifelong learning and achievement. The Caroline House mission is: To enable women and children to reach the fullness of their potential through education in English language and life skills.
