Friends since sixth grade, Kimberly and Jeymar grew up in Bridgeport and are now married with four children. Along with volunteers from JPMorgan Chase and Habitat for Humanity for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County, the family put in 500 hours of sweat equity building their Wood Avenue home.
“Cities around the world are grappling with how to provide affordable, reliable housing and economic opportunities to community members in distressed neighborhoods,” said David Short, executive director of corporate client banking for JPMorgan Chase.
This year the JPMorgan Chase is supporting 14 builds across the country as part of its nearly $1 million commitment to Habitat for Humanity.
