The breakfast is co-sponsored by The Center for Family Justice and State Rep. Cristin McCarthy Vahey (D-Fairfield).
Triangle’s Executive Director Anthony Crisci will talk about the organization’s work and their newly formed partnership with The Center for Family Justice.
“We share a common goal of connecting vulnerable populations with the resources they need to thrive,” Crisci said. “It’s important to understand the issues faced by the LGBTQ community – including a greater risk of discrimination and homelessness – and how allies can help.”
The partnership will increase services and support to the LGBTQ communities in lower Fairfield County, said Center for Family Justice President Debra Greenwood.
McCarthy Vahey, who co-sponsored legislation to ban so-called conversion therapy this session, said she’s proud Connecticut has “historically been a leader in LGBTQ rights.”
