Bridgeport Begins Selling Park Stickers For Summer

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — The city Department of Parks and Recreation is now selling 2016 parks stickers, allowing access to Seaside and Beardsley parks and permit parking along the St.-Mary’s-By-the-Sea seawall.

Stickers are $10 for city residents and taxpayers with proof of current city tax bills. Connecticut residents who don’t live in Bridgeport may buy a sticker for $100 each.

Parks stickers are available now at the Parks Department, 7 Quarry Road. They will also be available at park checkpoint booths from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Day passes are also available. The fee is $20 for Seaside Park or Beardsley Park for state residents. Out-of-state residents pay $40 for Seaside Park and $25 for Beardsley Park.

Residents must present a valid motor vehicle registration certificate and a parks employee must affix the sticker to the vehicle.

The Parks Department is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit the website.
