Celebrating six months of success, the Outdoor Patio and their 50,000th customer
By KAY PAGE GREASER (Hartford)Off Party on Sunday June 22 from noon to 8 p.m. in celebration of their first six months of successful business and the new Outdoor Patio which allows an additional 70 people to enjoy sports, wagering and the great outdoors. The patio will be rocking with live entertainment and a dunk tank will be in the parking lot hosted by the Windsor Locks Police Union to help raise money for a new press box at the Windsor Locks High School field. The construction will need approximately $5,000, some of which has already been raised through the generosity of the Police Union's efforts. For $10 each Bobby V's guests will get 10 chances to make the dunk and for $3 each they will get 5 chances, with the proceeds going directly to the fund. Bobby Vs Restaurant and Sports Bar is proud to have served nearly 50,000 people since opening in January of 2014. Bobby V's welcomed standing room only crowds for all three Triple Crown horse races and served more than 1,050 people during just those three Saturdays. Aiming to officially serve their 50,000th guest on June 22, that person will have their meal paid for by the house. Inside Bobby V's seats 300 and has 70 large screen TVs, a golf simulator and a meeting room alongside the already popular off-track betting facilities. The main attraction inside is the massive 17 ft. wide LED screen, obviously featuring the most popular athletic competition of the day. Outside, gorgeous woods form the natural bar top that matches the indoor décor of BVs, creating a comfortable up-scale casual environment for women and men of New England. Bobby V's Restaurant and Sports Bar patrons will be able to select food from the full menu both indoors and outdoors. Inside service offers a full bar while the patio serves a variety of favorite domestic and imported brews on tap and will be rotating craft beers from local brewers including Back East of Bloomfield and Wachusett Brewing Company of Westminster MA, just to name a few.
