Bishop To Bless New Sandy Hook Memorial At Shrine In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Bridgeport Bishop Frank Caggiano will bless the new Sandy Hook Memorial on the grounds of St. Margaret Shrine in Bridgeport after a Mass on Sunday morning.

Caggiano will celebrate Mass at 11 a.m. at the shrine at 2523 Park Ave. Mass will be followed by a procession to the memorial, where the dedication and blessing will be held.

The Sandy Hook Memorial is sponsored by John DiMarco from Luigi’s Italian Pastries in memory of his parents, Assunda and Frank DiMarco.

A reception will follow at the Circolo Sportivo Club, 2500 Park Ave., Bridgeport, across from the Shrine.
