The seminar will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 12 and 13. It will include:
• Emphasis on the Small Institution • Introduction to Emergency Preparedness, Its Terminology & Resources • Guidance on How to Develop & Implement an Emergency Plan • Recovery Techniques for Water Soaked Cultural Materials The seminar will be taught by Gretchen Guidess, assistant conservator of objects and textiles at Williamstown Art Conservation Center in North Adams, MA.
The registration fee is $399 and includes two breakfasts and two lunches.
