Frightful Fun at Bridgeport's Beardsley Zoo Howl-o-ween

BRIDGEPORT, Conn -- Calling all ghosts and goblins...'tis the season for frightfully scary and thoroughly enjoyable family fun at Beardsley Zoo's traditional Howl-O-Ween event from 6:30 pm to 10 pm Oct. 17, 18, 24 and 25.

Prepare to be scared with a"Howl Ghoul" from Beardsley Zoo's annual Howl-O-Ween event.

The festival features a "Greek Mythology" Hayride, Haunted Farmyard, Gruesome Greenhouse and magic show by local performer Jim Sisti. For a preview, check out the event's 2010 youtube video.

Howl-O-Ween is recommended for children ages 6-12, however some of the "scarier" activities may be better suited for those eight and older.

Admission is $12 per person in advance and for zoo members; $15 per person at the gate.
