ESPN's Nicole Briscoe Speaking At Breast Cancer Fundraiser In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Nicole Briscoe, an ESPN anchor and a cancer survivor, will speak at the luncheon celebrating the 20th anniversary for Swim Across the Sound, St. Vincent Medical Center's cancer charity.

Briscoe will speak about the benefits of early detection of breast cancer in the luncheon on Oct. 22.

The fund-raising luncheon costs $125, with proceeds funding programs to increase access to mammography and prevention services for women at risk in our community.

The luncheon begins at 10 a.m. with a silent auction. The champagne lunch will begin at noon.

The luncheon will be held at the Holiday Inn at 1070 Main St. in Bridgeport.
