Barnum Sails The Sound Comes To Bridgeport On May 30

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The Barnum Festival offers dockside dining and a date on the water with Barnum Sails The Sound on Saturday, May 30.

Dining begins at 5:15 and the cruise leaves at 7:15 p.m. Guests will dance the night away with the WhatUp Funk Band. Tickets are $50. Click here to purchase tickets. Any ticket buyer who shares an email address with The Barnum Festival will also receive two round-trip ferry passes.

Barnum Sails The Sound is part of the month-long Barnum Festivl celebration. Now in its 67th year, the event was created to build community spirit and honor Bridgeport’s most famous resident, P.T. Barnum. The renowned entrepreneur and co-founder of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, was also a generous philanthropist, newspaper publisher, charismatic showman, philosopher, humanitarian, politician and benefactor for the City of Bridgeport, where he served as mayor.

The next Barnum Festival event is a Night at The Bridgeport Bluefish on June 12.
