BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The Bridgeport Regional Business Council is taking reservations for a regional forum planned from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 28 at the Margaret E. Morton Government Center.

Learn how the Department of Economic and Community Development and the Connecticut Economic Resource Center Inc. are working together to help businesses grow in Connecticut. 

Commissioner Catherine Smith with introduce the regional point of contact from the department and discuss the state’s new initiatives to fuel job growth — while the resource center will present an overview of new business and municipal resources for economic growth. 

The event also will provide an opportunity for a Q&A and a discussion on how everyone can further work together to foster economic development success.
