According to the City of Norwalk's official website, Calf Pasture Skate Park recently underwent significant renovations to better serve the community. The upgrades, per the website, include the installation of concrete ramps and features designed to accommodate skaters of all ages and skill levels.
The skate park is located within Calf Pasture Beach, which offers a variety of recreational activities beyond skating, according to the city's website.
Ken Hughes, Superintendent of Parks and Public Property for the City of Norwalk, expressed the city's commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
"It’s a tremendous responsibility to provide a safe and fun recreational facility for all," he said, "and we are honored to be recognized for this accomplishment."
Local skaters have praised the renovated park for its improved design and facilities. One Readers' Choice voter shared, "The skatepark is awesome."
