After 50 years, Denville Pizzeria is changing ownership, going from the Di Maggio and Gambino families to the Pietrowicz family. the restaurant announced on social media.

Nearly $3M Jersey Cash 5 Jackpot Won By Middlesex County Player
A New Jersey Lottery player in Middlesex County is nearly $3 million richer after hitting the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot.
The lucky player matched all five numbers in the drawing Monday, Aug. 24, winning the $2,975,145 jackpot, New Jersey Lottery officials said.
The winning numbers were 01, 07, 08, 16 and 21. The Bullseye was 07 and the XTRA was 03.
Online retailer Jackpocket sold the winning ticket and will receive a $2,000 bonus, lottery officials said.

A Connecticut mother remains hospitalized after a vehicle struck her as she helped teenagers escape a crash on I-95, and a fundraiser aims to pay back some of her heroism.
Ashley Taunton, 42, of Ledyard, was traveling south on I-95 through Hopkinton, Rhode Island, with her youngest daughter last month when she spotted a wreck. Rain was pouring down, but Taunton, a mother of three who formerly worked as a certified nursing assistant, would not leave someone stranded.
“When I see there’s somebody in trouble, I tend to want to go help,” Taunton told People magazine on Sunday, Aug. 23.
