Holyoke Medical Center Expands Cancer Care Access
Holyoke Medical Center is expanding its Oncology & Hematology services with two physicians and new office locations in Holyoke and East Longmeadow.
The expansion is aimed at increasing access to cancer and blood disorder care for patients throughout the region, Holyoke Medical Center announced in a statement.
Masih Farooqui, MD, and Subramony Subramonia Iyer, MD, MPH, are expected to begin seeing patients in early November.
They will join Renuka Dulala, MD; Zubeena Mateen, MD; and Katarzyna Swistak, DNP, as part of HMC’s Oncology & Hematology team.

Northwell Among 14 Health Systems Honored For Age-Friendly Care
Northwell Health has earned national recognition for bringing age-friendly care practices across the system.
The health system received the “Excellence in System-Wide Spread” recognition from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
