Officer Saves Woman, 82, Choking On Candy At Store In Wallkill A police officer is credited with saving an 82-year-old woman who was choking on a piece of candy inside an Orange County furniture store.  The medical emergency happened at Bob’s Discount Furniture at 88 Dunning Rd. in Wallkill on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at around 7:10 p.m., according to the Town of Wallkill Police Department.  Officer Heather Dunnigan arrived less than a minute after the initial dispatch and found the woman actively choking on the candy, police said. Dunnigan immediately started giving medical care and was able to remove the obstruction.  The woman was the…
