South Jersey Driver Hospitalized After Route 73 Crash (Updated) A 69-year-old driver from Somers Point was injured after his car rear-ended a box truck in Camden County, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 12:15 p.m. on Monday, March 18 on Route 73 northbound near Davis Avenue in Winslow Township, Winslow police said. Ronald Kollman, the car's driver, was taken to Cooper University Hospital for treatment, police said. Police did not say how seriously Kollman was hurt. No other injuries were reported.

Elderly Woman Killed By Driver While Checking Mail Outside Staford Home, Sheriff Says The Stafford County Sheriff's Office has identified the 72-year-old woman who was killed after being struck by a vehicle as she checked her mail on Friday afternoon. Stafford resident Shelley Moncure went outside to check her mailbox shortly after 12:45 p.m. on March 15 in the 800 block of Widewater Road when she was struck by a driver who was traveling east down the roadway. The crash occurred at about 6 a.m. Thursday, March 14 southbound near milepost 62 in Eagleswood Township, according to New Jersey State Police. The Hino truck driver lost directional control, ran off the roadway to the left, struck the guardrail, and came to final rest in the wooded area, said Trooper Troy McNair, a State Police spokesman.
