Restaurant Closes After 11 Years In New Rochelle, Was Known For Comfort Food
After more than a decade of serving comfort food in Westchester, a longtime restaurant has closed its doors for good.
The Wooden Spoon, located at 1282 North Ave., closed on Sunday, Aug. 16, ending an 11-year run in the city, owner Nick Triscari announced.
The restaurant spent its first nine years on Division Street before moving to North Avenue two years ago.
"The last 11 years...have been an incredible ride," Triscari wrote in announcing the closure, adding, "We thank everyone who made the Wooden Spoon a part of their lives."
