The location at 180 Delaware Ave. in Delaware Plaza was first announced in December 2023. Previously, the space was a Bruegger’s.
“Come stop by and say hello!” the company wrote in a social media post. “We can’t wait to welcome you to the neighborhood and serve up the good stuff: freshly roasted coffee, hot bagels, delicious desserts, and our legendary bagel sandwiches.”
Uncommon Grounds now has nine locations across the Capital Region. Four are located in Albany, including one at the airport, while the others are in North Greenbush, Clifton Park, Saratoga Springs and Queensbury.
The company announced the North Greenbush and Queensbury locations around the same time as the Delmar spot, but the Queensbury shop opened in September 2024, while the North Greenbush location began serving customers in March 2025.
Uncommon Grounds in Delmar will be open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays and 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends. The company said it plans to extend those hours soon.
