The pickup truck, driven by Jesse Goehring, a Hampton resident, was traveling eastbound on Route 22 when it disregarded the red light and collided into the rear passenger side bumper of the school bus traveling southbound on County Line Road, Branchburg police said in a crash report.
Video sent to Daily Voice shows a heavily wrecked pickup truck at the intersection.
The school bus was transporting 14 juveniles. EMS responded and treated four juveniles who complained of jaw pain, head pain and chest pain, but they declined further treatment and were released to their parents.
Goehring admitted he ran the red light and was issued a summons for careless driving.
Records show that Goehring has a history of traffic offenses, including talking on the phone while driving in 2018. In 2011, he was issued a DUI in Hampton.
