Robert Fohringer Of Centre County PSP Missing Alert Ends

The Missing Endangered Person Advisory issued for a Centre County man has been canceled after he was safely located, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Monday, Jan. 12.

Robert Fohringer, 87, had been reported missing from Potter Township and was believed to be at special risk of harm, according to police.

Troopers confirmed Fohringer was found safe and thanked the public for sharing the advisory.

A Missing Endangered Person Advisory has been issued for an elderly Centre County man believed to be at special risk of harm, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Sunday, Jan. 12.

Robert Fohringer, 87, is being sought by Pennsylvania State Police Rockview after he was reported missing from Potter Township, Centre County, according to the release.

Fohringer was last seen in the area of Earlystown Road at approximately 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, police said.

He is described as a white man standing 6 feet tall and weighing about 185 pounds, with white hair and blue eyes. Police say Fohringer was wearing a black jacket, red button-up shirt, blue jean overalls, a gray Farmall hat, and black shoes.

Troopers believe Fohringer may be confused and at special risk of harm or injury.

He is believed to be operating a red 2013 GMC Acadia bearing PA registration MHM-0379, authorities said.

Anyone with information on Fohringer’s whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately or contact Pennsylvania State Police Rockview at 814-355-7545.
