Bottari had been a dedicated member of the Paramus Catholic faculty since 2010, where she was known for her compassion, wisdom, and commitment to Catholic education, school President Chris Farrell said.

Bottari was born in the Bronx and raised in Blauvelt, NY. She graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College after attending Albertus Magnus High School and spent many years in education before joining Paramus Catholic in 2010, according to her obituary on the Pizzi Funeral Home website.

Bottari loved animals, especially her dog, Snoopy, and was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith, according to her obituary. She died after a nine-month battle with pancreatic cancer, which she faced with "remarkable strength, determination, and unwavering faith," her obituary reads.

Bottari is survived by her son, Andre "Andy" Baez; granddaughter, Aubrey Jade Baez; her brother, Michael Bottari; sister-in-law, Michele; and niece, Christina, according to Pizzi Funeral Home.
