Lanes in both directions are subject to closure from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. overnight daily from Hendrickson Avenue in Elmont to Glenn Curtiss Boulevard in Uniondale, the New York State Department of Transportation announced Monday, May 4.
The construction is expected to last two weeks, weather permitting, according to the DOT. Crews will be conducting a "pavement renewal project" on the heavily used road, also signed as New York State Route 24.
Additional closure information will be updated online through the DOT website and 511NY. There will also be electronic signs posted to notify drivers of the lane closures.
