Allison Slysz, 32, of Hatfield, pleaded not guilty at her arraignment Thursday, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said.

Police did not provide any details on when these alleged assaults occurred or how investigators learned about them.

The investigation began while Slysz worked at Smith Academy. She no longer works at the school. Previous reports said she joined the Hatfield academy in 2018 as athletic director.

Judge Mary Beth Ogulewicz set cash bail at $1,000 and ordered Slysz to stay away from the student and have no contact with her, the prosecutor said.

Assistant District Attorney Stephanie Jimenez is prosecuting the case. Northampton attorney Jessie Adams represents Slysz.
