At 5:50 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at West Hodges Avenue and found the victim, George Rivera, had been transported via private vehicle to Cooper University Hospital, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay and Lawnside Police Captain William Plenty said.
He was pronounced dead later that evening, authorities said. The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
