Erica Valentin, 40, of Enfield, was arrested on a warrant Oct. 20 in connection with the July 27 robbery at Motel 6 on Silas Deane Highway in Wethersfield, according to police.

She is charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit second-degree larceny. Valentin was released on a $500,000 bond, police said.

The robbery happened around 10:16 p.m. at 1341 Silas Deane Highway, police said.

Two masked suspects carrying handguns entered the lobby, vaulted the counter and demanded money, investigators said. They then forced the clerk into a back office at gunpoint and assaulted them, according to Wethersfield police.

The suspects took the clerk’s phone, watch and cash, police said. Investigators did not specify how much money was stolen.

The clerk had minor injuries and declined medical care, police said.

Investigators said the suspects escaped in a white 2017 Hyundai Elantra that had been reported stolen in Hartford.

Valentin’s arrest follows the Sept. 22 arrest of Francisco Perez, 45, of Enfield.

Perez faces charges of first-degree kidnapping with a firearm, first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, second-degree assault with a firearm and second-degree larceny.

He was also released on a $500,000 bond, authorities said.
