Darrell J. Mcclellan was critically injured Tuesday, Oct. 20, following a crash around 9:15 p.m. on Main Street in Killingly, Connecticut State Police said. Paramedics took him to an area hospital, where he would later die.
Mcclellan was driving north in a 2012 Honda Accord when he crossed into the opposite lane, Connecticut State Police said. His car collided with a 2008 Toyota 4Runner traveling south.
The 24-year-old Brooklyn driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at an area hospital.
Both vehicles needed to be towed from the crash site.
A police report listed Mcclellan's address as a P.O. Box in Dayville, but a social media profile said he lived in Groton.
Connecticut State Police are investigating the crash.
