Christopher Lopez Oquendo was arrested after the stabbing on Wednesday night, Aug. 13, WCVB reported.
Leominster officers responded shortly after 8:30 p.m. to a report of two men chasing a woman near Monarch Street.
Police determined the men had been arguing over an issue that began days earlier. One of them had a stab wound to his thigh.
Emergency crews took the victim to UMass Memorial Hospital. Police said he is expected to survive.
Officers found Oquendo near the rail trail off North Main and Moore streets, the report said.
Oquendo is scheduled to appear in court next week.
