Chipotle Mexican Grill, Jersey Mike’s, and Primrose Schools have signed leases at 699 Canal Street, the former Fairway Market building, Charter Realty announced Tuesday, Oct. 6. The company has not said what the new building will be called.
They will join Club Studio, a high-end gym that announced last year it would open a location in the building.
Chipotle will take 2,519 square feet in the building’s middle section. Jersey Mike’s will fill a neighboring 1,176-square-foot space, according to Charter Realty. Primrose Schools, which runs preschools and day care centers, will occupy 16,176 square feet at the building’s far left.
Opening schedules for the three newly signed tenants and the planned grocery store were not announced.
