Carmine G. Agnello, 40, of East Norwich, tied the knot with Ariana Puran before he was locked up Monday, Aug. 10, Newsday reported. The couple married Saturday, Aug. 8, according to Agnello’s lawyer, Steve Christiansen.
Agnello was accused of domestic violence against Puran in June. She later described the dispute to Newsday as a “regular couple’s argument” and said she wouldn't pursue criminal charges, but the state case against Agnello is still pending.
However, it will remain on hold for at least a year, as Gotti’s release date from federal prison is currently set for Aug. 23, 2027, according to the Bureau of Prisons website. He was convicted of $1.1 million COVID relief fraud.
