Suspect Arrested For Shooting In Abington Home: Police Abington police responded to a domestic shooting in a Roslyn home early on Friday, May 17, the department says.  It happened on the 2500 block of Pershing Avenue around 9 a.m., according to authorities.  An adult victim was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while a suspect was "quickly taken into custody," police said.  The investigation is ongoing and there is "no danger to the community," they added.

Delco Thieves Made Of With Over $14K In Sunglasses, Troopers Say State police in Delaware County are looking for two people in connection with a May 5 retail theft.  The robbers stole about $14,300 in sunglasses from the LensCrafters at 539 Wilmington West Chester Pike in Glen Mills, troopers said in a release. Downed Pole Causes Power Outage, Detours Traffic In Allentown: Police A utility pole is down at North 15th and Utica streets in Allentown, police said Friday morning, May 17.  Authorities said it happened around 6 a.m. A power outage is affecting residents of several blocks nearby and PPL is on the scene, police said. Drivers are being asked to avoid the intersection until further notice.  Police said they will issue an update when the intersection is clear.

Crash Shuts Down I-81 On-Ramp In Franklin County A multi-vehicle accident shut down an on-ramp to Interstate 81 in Franklin County on Friday morning, May 17, according to PennDOT.  Officials said it happened on the PA 696 ramp to I-81's southbound lanes near Exit 24 in Southampton Township. The ramp was still closed as of 9:30 a.m.  It's not yet clear if anyone was hurt.
