Starting on Monday, June 17, and lasting approximately four weeks, both directions of I-495 will be closed between Exits 37 (Willis Avenue) and 39 (Glen Cove Road) in North Hempstead. According to Nassau County police, Armanda Valles got into an argument with a 19-year-old girl just before 7:30 p.m. in front of her Hawthorne Avenue residence. The Fairfield County incident occurred on Thursday, June 6 in Darien. At about 2:20 a.m., police arrived at a Long Neck Point Road home on reports of an intoxicated 18-year-old girl.
