Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

South Jersey Man, 46, Killed In Weekend Crash A 46-year-old man was killed after striking a tree Sunday, June 9 in Bass River Township, authorities said. Vincent Genna, of Egg Harbor Township, was driving eastbound on North Maple Avenue, near Stage Road, at 9:05 p.m. when he veered off the road, New Jersey State Police said. Genna was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.

Motorcyclist, 45, Killed In Camden County Crash A 45-year-old motorcyclist from Camden County was killed in a crash Sunday, June 2, in Gloucester City, authorities said. Christopher R. Chester, of Lawnside, was on the exit 1B ramp from Interstate 76 south to Interstate 295 north at 9:45 a.m. when he lost control of his Suzuki motorcycle, struck a guardrail and was thrown from the Suzuki, New Jersey State Police said. Chester was pronounced dead at the scene.
