Another winter storm could be bringing more snow to the region on Friday, forecasters say. Between 1 and 6 inches of snow are being predicted by AccuWeather meteorologists across New Jersey and much of Pennsylvania from Friday, March 3 into Saturday, March 4. North Jersey and much of Pennsylvania could be blasted with freezing rain Sunday ahead of bitterly cold temps, making for slick and icy roads going into the week, meteorologists say. Light rain moving into the region in the morning mixed with lingering cold air will likely create freezing rain beginning around 10 a.m. north and west of I-95, the National Weather Service says. A system that brought a mix of accumulating snow, sleet, and rain to the region will be followed by a blast of Arctic air and then the potential for an even more significant storm.
