A high-level cocaine trafficking organization has been dismantled following a sweeping investigation across eastern Pennsylvania, Attorney General Dave Sunday announced on Saturday, Sept. 6. Investigators charged 21 individuals connected to the Jimmie Torres–led operation, which allegedly ran primarily out of north Philadelphia with extensions into Bucks and Montgomery counties, according to the release. An 18-year-old from Northern Westchester who admitted to stabbing two teenagers, one of whom died during a fight that started on social media, will spend time in prison, the District Attorney’s Office announced. Peekskill resident Matthew Torres has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter and assault earlier this year.
